1.第8章考纲，metanalysis 这个概念您没讲,
2.下面这三个概念回答对吗？


Etymology:which is the study of the history of individual words
native words:while the majority of words in a language are native words，such as are words of Anglo-Saxon origin,such as full,hand red.
loan words from  another language,are those that are borrowed or imported from another language,such as career,myth.


3.Analogical creation,古英语一些词不规则，用新的形式代替他，这个概念书中的表述 不太理解，
4。Broadening ,narrowing这两个概念理解意思，不知道书上答案在哪里？

1. 第8章考纲，metanalysis在教材132页，可以根据句子意思将其定义为：Metanalysis is a type of change in words, that is, the movement of a morpheme boundary.
2. Etymology: the study of the history of individual words
Native words: the words that can be traced back to the earliest form of the language in question, while the majority of words in a language are native words, such as are words of Anglo-Saxon origin in English.
Loan words: borrowed words from  another language. The words are borrowed or imported from another language, such as career, myth.

3. Analogical creation: 教材中所在段落是132页，第三段第一句话就是它的定义（解释一下，就是通过类比来创造词汇的方式，比如一些不规则的词汇，kine本来是cow的复数形式，但是多数名词复数是直接加s这样的规则，于是这个规则被应用在cow的复数上，那么就类比常规名词复数，造了一个类似的复数，也就是造了cows出来，于是就有了现在的cows这个复数形式。）
4。Broadening, narrowing 这两个概念理解意思，不知道书上答案在哪里？
这两个词一个是指词义的泛化，一个是指词义的缩小。
Broadening是词义的泛化，some words widen the range of their application or meaning
Narrowing是词义的窄化或缩小，some words have their contextual application reduced in scope.
133页是举例。
（另外，提醒：以上答案其实都在书上，最根本的问题是没读懂书中的内容意思是什么，所以以教材为主要参考，吃透教材是非常有必要的。）
